I can't say I share your confidence, because I'm aware that while the original Taurian Cattle is extinct the planet is overrun with cattle of the hybrid kind. The same is true of humans. It is also true that while the original modern 'Man' is African the planet is overrun with the genetic marker of a male human hybrid who 'evolved' in the Asiatic highlands a few thousand years ago, and that his descendents have been replacing (breeding out) the indigenous African male for many ages both within the continent and without.
