Many of the “religious” allegorical rules Rasta advocates, have their foundation firmly planted in behavioral utility; abstinence from Pork being one of many.
Maybe the majority that have adopted the lifestyle are ignorant of its utility, but the truth is known to many; I know this how; because the rule and its connection to Toxoplasmosis was pointed out to me as a child by my Rastafarian neighbor in Trinidad & Tobago. More than forty years separate the present me from that lesson but it still resonated when I encountered this interesting bit of science. The attached tutorial explains why the “One Love” philosophy is against nature.
Our MtDNA might be out of Africa; but as I and others recently of this forum, have questioned from the beginning of this African Eve White/Euro fantasy; what about the majority of our DNA contained in the nucleus; those 46 chromosomes.
The confusion is deliberate X = female; MtDNA = Female thus our brains lump them together but as the diagram clearly shows, what goes on in the nucleus is probably out of mother's control; and we have the free will to choose whether we want to be hijacked by the Goa'uld (our Fragile X wing men/multiple personality disorders/disorders on the autistic spectrum) or whether we embody the primal order of our mother's consciousness.
Some of us have already had that decision taken away from us, but we can still protect our progeny; for anyone of us who have had our homes invaded by rodents know only too well the HELL they create; does it really have a purpose in nature? or does it merely consume and defecate, destroying and infecting all in proximity with its myriad diseases? Is the lifestyle and environment of a rodent the one you choose for your child, now that you know? RHCE/RHD; RH negative/RH positive; Toxoplasma Gondii/None?
