Its Passover week and the media is once again resplendent with the faux history of the Semites. I caught the National Geographic special on the Biblical Plagues and was intrigued by a comment made by one of the correspondents: He thought the Hyksos could not have been Israelites because they were described as Kings by the Egyptians while the Jews describe themselves as slaves; but if we merely look to Massey this too can be explained. The Hyksos were the 'Servants' of Typhon and were despised by the Egyptian 'servants' of Osiris. The conversion/translation from servant to slave is a very recent convention.
