it is with no small amount of trepidation that I type this, but....

I have watched this particular conversation occur on this board and elsewhere a number of times now, and each time the sorts of principles that you have expressed come up against frequently messy and complicated realities of peoples actual lives.

So, in a probably misguided effort at clarification.... am I correct in thinking that you are not suggesting some kind of universally applicable law banning mixed race relationships?

and,

What you are suggesting is that this is a matter of PERSONAL ethical and moral principle for yourself (and others) that you are sharing with others?

and finally,

You arent suggesting that people who are in love with others of another race suddenly stop somehow?

Anyway, as I said, just a feeble attempt at taking a little of the personal heat out of this.

Oh, for what it is worth this isnt an issue that effects me directly. I have never been involved with a black woman (which is not to say that they are not lovely, of course).
