Re: Levels of blame/guilt
In Response To: Re: Levels of blame/guilt ()

Honour

Good words Karibkween. Yes, I have also heard people talking about love as if it was some force that comes on the willing as well as the unwilling. This is a great fallacy. We are capable of choosing what to love. That is why I have no sympathy or patience with the argument that goes like "..we just fell in love, I never expected it..".

Well yes, and if you keep crossing two-way roads but have a habit of only checking for traffic coming from the right, eventually, you will get run over from the left.

Love is not a disease. Diseases are the only things that come on us without our consent. Even so, if one lives right and in a right environment, one may never experience diseases that are common to those who live otherwise.

There has been no gain for Africans from the mixing of species. Ones who like to point at Bob Marley's Scottish heritage forget that his gifts came from through his African mother. There has been no great African of mixed heritage who would have lost anything from thier abilities had they not being mixed. So, since we have gained nothing from this exchange why should we condone it?

The fact that it is a part of some people's life does not make it right. Bestiality, homosexuality, and paedophilia are a part of many people's life. Most of this (with the exception of the paedophiles) are hurting nobody else with what they do. Yet, most societies reject these practices because they are seen as being harmful to the social fabric.

Africa has gained NOTHING from mixing with outsiders, on the contrary, we have lost a lot as several times, those who we made have turned around and worked towards our subjugation (or looked for our destruction).

I can name several places on this Earth where the least privileged owe thier status to thier proximity to the African original while the ruling elites are self-selected on the basis of thier distance from the African original.

Why should we keep making potential advesaries?

Why would anyone who is mixed and claims to be pro-African be in favour of further erasing the African features of thier descendants? You would think, would'nt you, if such a person was truly what he/she claimed to be, that he/she would be the one most in favour of returning the seed to the original Earth that it came from.

Wisdom and Strength.
