Let me tell you my insight into you : You are one of those who believe yourself to be superior on the basis of your closeness to the system.
-------------------
closeness to what system?
------------------
You are one of those who say, "let us work within the system to change it"
----------------
you dont know me very well. just because i dont call people names of belittele their thoughts or belief systems does not mean i am not fighting everyday to advocate for the rights of africansa at home and abroad.
--------
My opinion of your type is this : You are not to be trusted. You are a bit militant now, but that is because you are not as far down the road of compromise as you will eventually be.
-----------
my type-there you go again. you dont have to trust me-as i am not seeking your trust, approval or friendship. i am not militant, however i have no problems advocated armed resistance against common oppressors.
--------
When you get down that road, you will unfold your vulture feathers and all will see you for what you are.
--------------
my vulture feathers? there you go again. there is nothing i seek from this world besides equity and health for my family and my world. you see, you are very well versed at spouting generarlities about what you "think" about people-and generalizing about what you really dont know. whereas me, i have no problem laying it out on the line-as i have nothing to hide mr. eja. have i tried to work in the system, of course-when i found out that the only way refugees could be legally resettled and reunited with their families, i found out who was doing what and got a job in the system that facilitiated family reunification. im proud to speak facts about my contribution in working with my fellow africans. i worked outside the system when i realized that the agency which was resettling africans were to some degree racist and corrupt, prompting a statewide investigation into this agency which resulted in positive change occuring with the refugee resettlemet program in the usa. sure i work inside the system, when trying to build bridges of collaboration and cooperation when soliciting funds for organizations such as africa humanitarian action, and other african run organizations. many people would say-whay talk about what you do? well i would add, why not---why spend all your innergy trying to belittle others, when you could highlight positive works that you are engaged in a seek cooperation so others can join
--------
Your acceptance of certain terms show the configuration of your senses. You do not hesitate to call Africans 'tribalists'.
-----
now i wont play tit for tat w/ you mr eja. it does not take much work to revisit your post anmd see who is the perpatrator of initiating insults.
-----
Yet, the last europeans to be called tribes were the 'babarians' imperial rome fought against. 'Tribe' is a reductive term. You are an 'educated' man. A 'conscious-minded' black man. You do not know this?
----------------
please provide references for these allegations. mr eja, i dont claim to be educated-i do seek knowledge and have gained some knowledge in my life thus far. the difference b/n a brother like you and i is this-I DONT CLAIM TO KNOW IT ALL. you do. one cannot have a different opinion than you, and not be persoanlly verbally attacked. i at the very least can respect your opinion-even though much of what you say i dont agree with.
you see you can spew rhetoric and theories and such and such-but i have yet to read any of your words providing insight on solutions to the challenges that we as africans face. you can call me what you like-but i have yet to read anything from you about how you are putting it down for your people in the, as you like to say "waste."
i will ask you again: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR THE AFRICAN NATION TODAY??
