I do hope you and your village are in the best of health, you will forgive my delay in responding to your post, but now I am finally responding. It is very difficult to give full historic detail of things which you have seen and known 40 or 50 years ago, because people who were not even born at that time, will start to tell you what they hear from others, and will from time to time disrupt the reasoning, and turn it intom an argument. But let me try my best, to do my best with the few minutes which I have at this time.

When the Rastafari movement started it was all about African people and their Repatriation. We did take the baton of Africa for Africans from Marcus Garvey and run with it. The movement has gone through so many changes, for there was a time in the early days, when we were shouting for black supremacy. What you will find today in the Rastafari religion, is that it is over crowded with Europeans, who's intention, is to Repatriate to Ethiopia or Zion, as a part of that 144,000 saints, who is expected to ascend up into mount Zion, for Zion is a holy place and no sin cannot enter there. These Europeans are accepted in the villages and are fast becoming a part and parcel of the Rastafari community.

They quickly learn our words doctrine and habits, while they are having their eyes and intention on a lovely black sister, to be decieved and taken as their wife. Since the Rastafari community remain poor, any body who is able to bring gifts could be seen as a blessing sent from Jah, while at the same time it could be a gift which can blind the eyes. So right now, the religious section allow any body to come into the village regardless of race. They can just come in and become Rastafari people.

The Rastafari movement are really people who are saying Africa for Africans those at home and those abroad, it is not no mixed multitudes of people involved in the Rastafari movenment, this is about African people standing up for the rights of African people everywhere, it is a black thing. Since Mama Africa was never left alone to take care of her own affairs and her people, it is just hard to understand how the Europeans can act, as if slave trading activities did not take place, and they are ready to go back to Africa on the Rastafari religious band waggon. In my opinion, until Africans and Mama Africa be treated fairly, and liberation, and repatriation of African people are achieved, then the color of people's skin, will be of great significance among all people upon the face of this earth.
