Sis Makeda,
You know how I even got involved in this message board? A Rasta friend of mine (with whom I often have friendly debates) told me that someone mentioned the name of my bishop Abuna Yesehaq in here (I think it was leftist militant in the Bob Marley post). I just wanted to see what was up, and I guess the whole discussion got carried away. You are right, proselytizing really isn't the thing to do. I have a big problem with the pentecostal and Roman Catholic "missionaries" who come to Ethiopia to steal people away from our Church. I was wrong, not for speaking my beliefs, but for belittling the faith of others. I have a question though. Do you also feel that these other non-Rastas (i.e. Kemetics, Nuwaubians, etc.) should also stop trying to convert people on this message board? Based on the posts I've read, they have been more critical of Rastafari even than myself.
Respect,
Nicholas
