Wassup ya ol commie you! (Is joke a mekkin).
Go back and read the post again... you will see that I was specifically referring to Blacks' opinions of whites as something that should not be called "racism". Regardless of how extreme it is, because the reason and motivation behind it is completely different from the reason and motivation behind whites' racism against blacks. More times, people in the NOI and similar groups believe these things about whites because that's been their EXPERIENCE. Like how Malcolm believed all whites were devils, until he had a different experience, then he changed his mind. I don't know where you're from, but here in Amerikkka there are MANY communities where Blacks grow up having no contact with any white people other than police who shoot them, teachers who are more afraid of them than interested in teaching them, landlords and tax-collectors. So that's what they base their opinions of 'whites' on.
Also, regardless of what Blacks may think of whites, they don't have the power to deny them decent jobs, decent housing, to incarcerate 60% of their population, etc. Unless you want to talk about Zimbabwe... in that case, much as I dislike Mugabe who is just another politrickshun, not a "socialist" as he claims... despite that I fully agree with that particular aspect of his policy, confiscating white farmers' lands, it's LONG OVERDUE and it's a JUST PAYBACK. Now, whether the confiscated lands are gonna go to the people who really need them, or to Mugabe's cronies and political supporters- that's a different story.
As far as attitudes to other races- it kinda depends on the situation to me. In Guyana where I'm from there is a lot of racial division between African and Indian (i.e. from India) Guyanese. That is a situation where I would say, yes, there is racism from both sides and I would call it "racism", because depending which political party is in power one race DOES have the power to discriminate against and suppress the other in areas of everyday survival... jobs, housing and so forth. Is a stupidness set up by the British, divide and conquer, both Africans and Indians have fallen for it in a major way.
I recommend you check out the works of my late great countryman Dr. Walter Rodney.
Is that clearer now? OK, Peace Out.
