If these people in the Church really are as you say then they truly are hypocrites. A priest that carries that kind of wickedness in his heart?!? God will be his judge. Such people are not really true to your faith or mine. They are in limbo somewhere inbetween. Pray for them. It must be a painful existence for these confused individuals. Also, you're right on another point. Getting an Ethiopian name is a ridiculous reason to seek baptism. The sacred mystery then becomes a judgement on their head like lightening and fire. At least you have the strength of your convictions and aren't as mixed up in the head as some of these people who think they can house two souls in one body.
