I see the people as hypocrites because I have heard that some of the bredren wey cut dem dread still believe in their hearts that His majesty is God. If they truly believe this, they would not cut their locks just to get an Ethiopian name. We are Ethiopians whether you feel we are or not, and I don't need any church to give me a name. Also, some of the priests (who are Jamaican converts) still smoke weed and hail up His Majesty in private. Hope this answers your question.
