.... to de Elder Warria Baba Ras Marcus, and listen to what de man has to say.
He has lived more years than you and done more than you.
Just as how he has lived more years than I and done more than I (as yet).
Even if no Africans were directly taken captive from the area of land mass presently known as Zimababwe, formerly known as Rhodesia, formerly known as a whole heap of different names I'm sure... even if no Africans were taken directly from there during the early 1500s up til 1888 which is when Brazil {then a so-called part of Portugal} abolished the slave trade... not sure if any state in the western hemisphere so-called abolished slavery later... possibly Cuba {under the spanish}. Anyway, even if no one was kidnapped from the landmass that is nowadays called Zimbabawe, between the years 1500-1900 or thereabouts... people been travelling around and about Africa for many many thousands of years before the present neo-colonial borders of Africa were established... through nuff different borders and lack of borders... so who is to say that the mumma or dada, dawta or son who was captured from Senegambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, didn't have "Zimbabwean" ancestors?
Africa for Africa, those at home and those abroad... a profound statement from the great brudda Marcus Mosiah Garvey I.
