Yes I , it is an African thing, first and foremost

and for those who love the herb, locks and lyrics, they must always remember that the herb and the Africans are not yet free.
Some enthusiats (un)knowingly make it their point of duty to blur out Africa in their "heights" of conciousness.
I pray that we have miles of posts on this reasoning.
