Greetings again Fyahman,
You said: "One cannot blame or place ultimate responsibility on the victims of an imposed condition and set parameters, that are controlled by the downpressors."
This is VERY correct. This is why I do not support the generalized lopsided blame on Black women.
You said: "The next thing, it takes two to do the Tango. If the woman over the generations is favored due to what's between her legs, and puts down her man as a sorry ass nig nog( a term used for a whipped slave) because she has a job with massah and he does'nt; then according to you it is just a male problem. One can substitute the words qouted with light skin and just say it's a problem only for dark skin ones and not the fault of light skin ones."
"If" does not convey a statement of fact to substantiate the generalization being made here about black women. There is no evidence that the MAJORITY of black females in the US "puts down her man as a sorry ass nig nog( a term used for a whipped slave) because she has a job with massah", to substantiate the generalization being made about black women.
When taking the issue of colorism into consideration, it is not usually the dark-skinned-kinky-hair-women who can pull much rank on black males, or who are generally favored by whites for sex. There are too many mixed ones who fill that gap. More often black males (generalization) first try to get a fairer one and if that fails then settle for the blacker one. Because they feel they are settling for the lesser of the women, their general conduct is more abusive. There is a twist here. There are black males who get into relationships with white females and also violently abuse them, although this is not common. They make them ‘pay’ for the history of abuses, but also they are reacting from their own insecurities. These ignorant males are always shopping for a fairer one. Usually when people speak about black issues and who is doing what, I have to look at colorism because the situation is not always the same with dark-skinned blacks.
Colorism is not about "If", but a real situation in the quantum that substantiates generalizations. Also, I have stated before that ignorant dark-skinned blacks have to also take blame for colorism as they encourage it by their ignorance and conduct. So the ignorant dark-skinned blacks are not innocent when we talk about colorism.
Very often it is the mixed light-skinned straight hair black female who in her ignorance and arrogance consents to sex with other light-skinned blacks, and white males for material advancement and 'social' prestige. Historically, the dark-skinned black woman was raped by white males. She had no rank to pull; she was being violated in the crudest manner. Dark-skinned black women were raped and then had to raise a mixed light-skinned child who whites then favored. Often many light-skinned ones were conditioned to be ashamed of their blacker mothers.
I will agree that in a general way Black women are not doing sufficient, but they are no different to most black males and light-skinned ones who also do not resist the system. I cannot lay the bulk of the blame on black women, when I am aware these issues are also about the males’ own insecurities and low self-esteem in a hostile system that works first and foremost for the material rewards of a clique of white males.
