The answer to your question is many , cause each couple consist of two individuals . Every one life path takes it own turns and leads to its own personal decision . That to say the question is personal to each individual

If I am to make a generalization , which is what you seek ,Then i would say the system has corrupted or affected their minds in such away that their standard of beauty ,success and love is seen as being European -like(Trophy) . It is difficult to deprogramm what has been learn from childhood and so on the road to recovery you will indeed see these things .

Some may wish that their children , have access to the privileges that whites have , and they themself never had -wanting better for their own offspring .

Others may have been caught up in a circle where they feel accepted and there are few acceptable blacks available in that circle of associates .

Some have been pursued by white women successfully , either because she thinks or believes she loves the black man or for his wealth .

Some white women think themself black because of the circumstances of their life and as a result mostly have black friends .
Some black people look very white , even more european than most whites .

I could go on , but of course you get the picture

For 4yrs out of my life a lived on the north coast of Jamaica , this is where the tourist(whitepeople) come to get sun , sand , beach and relaxation . From in the late 70's a new culture has a risen there known as the rent-a-dread phenomenon . In which white women from all over europe and america come to have sex with "dreads"(men with locks) who supply them with ganja . These black men are not true dreads or Rasta ,plain and simply male prostitute who pretend to be real rasta . On rare occassion some of these white women take up permanent residence in the Island and get married to their male consort , and live as man and wife for life . Others marry their men and carry them back to europe or america (stella got her groove back) . Those white women who stay on the Island themself then become dreads(women with locks)
