I am assuming quite charitably that you are generalising and that you do not know the story of how Masimba Musodza is in England at this time and when he is returning to Zimbabwe.
I recall you expressed surprise over my castigation of that loony Blair and found yourself in agreement. This has been my point. You are trying to force me in to a mould, which I do not fit squarely. So either you criteria is all wrong, or I am not consistent. Which is which.
But one thing that is clear, I am more African than any of you lot. That is why I do not have to try so hard- my Africanness just sits on me naturally.
I sympathise with the story of the Africans who were kidnapped to work in the West.
But at the same time, we must not forget that the Africa that those people left behind does not exist any more. Neither are you quite the same as they.
When you are serious about reclaiming your identity, give me a call some time, fly out to Zimbabwe and I will show you places where only certain people are allowed, only there can you really re-discover yourself. No book about Nkrumah can teach you that.
