Thanks rason, I should've replaced proud with 'THANKFUL'...

Thankfullness is the mother of all virtues.

I am thankful for all the contributions of human-kind and disgusted by all the evils.

But you could also look at it this way: if someone is connected to their heritage and claims to be a part of it --- then you are a part of it and it is a part of you so in that respect being proud is validated.?.

I'm still not going to wear an 'I'm A Fin' shirt around though, because they put little loons all over them.

I'll design my own. (not to mention I have a varied past so I'd have to put 'I'm A Fin I'm A German I'm A Russian I'm A Swede I'm a Norwegian'
