Excuse while I jump in on this "proud of" or "ashamed of" talk.

For I------I could not imagine feeling "proud of" or "ashamed of" something that someone else did.

It's like taking credit or blame for something that you had nothing to do with.

I will be proud of things that I accomplish and ashamed when I screw up.

I think that may be PART of our race problems-------we have whites that haven't done shit feeling good and we have blacks that have nothing to be ashamed of feeling ashamed

Just my thoughts
