Re: Interested in theories
In Response To: Re: Interested in theories ()

Seen----I get the Home-sickness thing----been homesick many times my self, But the African students that I have met seem to be generally interested in Black History----and not just African, but also American black history. It has been the African students that complain the most about lack of classes on black History at our school. The Black American students don't seem to give a sh**. But you know I could probably say the same about many white students not really interested in American history. It may be just a case of American born kids just taking this material life for granted while the african kids come over looking to take advantage of everything being offered to them. Gman may be right though about the brainwashing--------Africa has been depicted as a pretty useless place in our history books so all that received that false information would be influenced by it. Blacks in America are not the only ones that try to distance themselves from Africa------------It is sad.
