We have to start coming to grips with reality and do away with the 'twoness' or 'double consciousness' as coined by W.E.B. Dubois.

If we know that he is not going to change anything, why are we all excited about Obama being elected? It seems we are happy with a change in face instead of a change in american hegemony.

I would think that people would be much happier if they could feed themselves and their children, put clothes on their backs and a roof over their head opposed to rituals and the raising of Icons. Placebo's are known to make people feel good too yet the people are still sick.

Even still, I will let time tell the story. I have no expectations, therefore, I cannot be disappointed.
