If I may comment on what appears to be the crux of your response...
the colorism topic has been debated and reasoned on this board many times in the past.
I will try to link it but I have no problem re-entering any discussion because it is obvious that it is still an important topic, especially now that we have an HNIC.
Let me just say for now that is is NOT about sub-dividing, it is about addressing a division that is already in play in full effect.
Image is important, as we can see by the circus of the last year. And there are complexes on both ends of the spectrum but have no doubt that even TODAY, dark-skinned, kinky-haired (and obese) females are at the bottom of every category in Western society.
The argument that the staff writers of this web-family present, IMO, is that until this identified grouping is represented WITH POWER, only then may their be liberation/justice/fairness/peace FOR ALL.
This may be a "can of worms" topic but that proves how present the problem is.
