It seems we are no closer to finding the root or origin of many things human; and as I've indicated in the past Euro-Science in many instances is Bass-Ackwards
For instance can anyone say for sure if knowledge of the anti-inflammatory benefits of Aloes migrated from the East to the West or vice versa? In other words did the Asiatic bring this knowledge to the West or did the Asiatic inherit this information from the Western Australoid? Both the Australian Aborigine (Australoid) and the Native American (Asiatic) have a higher percentage of type 'O' blood than any other East Asian group. In fact for some isolated native North and South Americans its 100%. Seems to me that alone should indicate origin.
Another poster presented an argument that Rh negative prevalence in the Basques was the result of the parasitic disease Toxoplasmosis given their proximity to domesticated cats; and according to Euro-Science cats are the primary host for this parasite. Except cats were domesticated +/- 10kya in the Fertile Crescent so how does natural selection if there is any, help the Basques? But maybe the prevalence of Toxoplasmosis in the European population has nothing to do with cats at all; but everthing to do with their cannibalism and their proclivity for raw or poorly cooked meat. One must remember that the Neanderthal's diet was comprised exclusively of meat, he was the original meat sack: With lots of room in his big head for brain tumors. Brain tumors are a consequence of Toxoplasmosis; I had meat-lover friend who succumbed to the HIV virus and ultimately died of a brain tumor the result of his immune system being unable to combat the bacteria and parasites one ingests from consuming dead. His head was almost twice its pre-AIDS size at the time of death.
There was also a discussion a few years back on Bloodlines; and part of the discussion had to do with blood heme/iron. Since then I've learned that calcium can block iron absorption which can lead to iron deficiency anemia and result in hypothyroidism. It is curious that the soil on the island of Crete is full of calcium, in fact the word Creta means chalk in Latin; and chalk is calcium carbonate; in our Bloodlines discussion we even discussed Goitre and Cretinism both of which are consequences of hypothyroidism. Which brings me to this point, does the Neanderthal represent human evolution or human regression?
As rare as the Rh negative blood group is to West Africans, so is the Duffy Negative blood group to Europeans. For Africans however its easily dismissed as protection from the Malaria parasite. Mosquitoes however are native to South America and according to Wiki they made a massive expansion into West Africa around 12k B.C.; and here again is this magical number 12k B.C. Hapgood, Atlantis, etc etc. According to computer simulation of the drifting of continents, Northern Africa was Western Africa before it became Northern Africa; wouldn't we all like to know when it really occured?
