I passed a Muslim's shop the other day, he had T-shirts and posters with what I considered caricatures of Rastas. All supported by the eager custom of reggae fans. I asked him how he felt if I had caricatures of Omar, Abu Bakr and other figures of Islam. He replied that he did not know Rastafari was a religion, and now that he did he would withdraw the T-shirts because he did not think it was proper to mock another man's faith.
So, here's an example of dialogue producing results. But you can't have dialogue if you have been conditioned to shut up in case you offend.
