I agree in part to your statement- you cant teach what you dont know. I dont think that it would be appropriate for a white teacher to conduct lessons on African history. However, if a white teacher is skilled in mathematics, science, technology, etc-I see no inherent problem with them teaching Black children these subjects. Whites would not make the best school guidance counselors for Black/African children, but if they are qualified-and no other Black teachers are available, then, in answering the general question, "Can Whites Teach Black (children),' my general answer would be yes, in some instances.
