Re: Can Whites Teach Black Children?

Ites
I can speak from personal experience as well.

I have been teaching elementary school children for 7 years.

It is wishful thinking to think that parents will instill those things in their children.

But it doesnt happen often because many of the parents in the school where I teach have no knowledge of self of their own.

Many of the white teachers in Iman school are young and have no clue how to identify with black children. Whatever people dont overstand, they label it as bad.

That is why we have a majority population of blacks and latinos in special ed even though the school is majority blacks and latinos.

Give thanks for the rasponses.
