OK good. If you are seriously interested in increasing your understanding of the history and getting some different perspectives I'd recommend you read Ayanna's article on this subject which can be found on her homepage. I can't say I agree with her 100% but she makes some valid points which are not usually brought up.
Another good resource especially for younger people is 'The Black Holocaust for beginners' by I forget who.
