"You are living in the white man's land, eating his food, and applying to his institutions of higher learning. Therefore if a Rastafarian seeks to intergrate into the educational system as a child or an adult, then you will need the validity of the establishment, if you wish to dodge persecution. My brother that is a reality of our situtaion. No religion will have LEGAL protection under the law in the work place and at school, until it is deemed as a validatible religion."
Do you think a Rastafari person who advocates for the destruction of white supremacy will ever get validation from a white supremist system? It seems as if you want to make Rastafari into a full fledge religious card carrying member. Rastafari is a LIVITY, and not a religion. I suggest you find out the difference between the two if you dont already know.
IMO, once Rastafari is validated and co-signed by Babylon, it will have lost it power and will be subjected to the whims of said system. It will no longer be considered a threat to Babylon. That is why they have it on cult status now...to stigmatize InI.
I live in America and honestly, I only know of only one Rastafari sistren who had problems regarding 911. I know of many more sikhs, muslims and hindi who had their places of worship set on fire and spray painted with rascist messages. But this is just my experience
Anyways, you can join your church. It has no bearing on my life.
But since you like to refer to Qedamawi Haile Selassie's teachings, you should remember that he said faith is personal.
