Re: (Eja) Power of Words

Word is Oro
Oro can also mean poison. Now as we know, all poisons are also medicines (and vice versa), the difference between the two being dosage.

Oro is also the name of scared procedures carried out only by males.

Sound is Dun
Dun is also a way of saying "sweet".
When we wish to speak of hearing a sound we use the word Gbo. Gbo also means to vibrate.

A thing to notice is how both 'word' and 'sound' are related to the sense of taste. A common question when words are said is "Xe oro mi dun mo e?" Which translated mean "Are my words sweet?"

Of course, the answer may be "yes", the words may be very sweet, but it only after we see the effects that we know if they were intended to be poisonous or curative.

Excuse the briefness of my reply, I will say more in a while.

Wisdom and Strength.
