For many years euro-centric egyptologists have described Ausar as the "gatekeeper" to the underworld/dead.
Dead = Subconscious - Anuk Ausar
Webster's defines the word Usher as "gatekeeper", "servant", "augur" (inaugurate)
I do not want to appear too knowledgeable about an unfamiliar language, for I am not Yoruba. I have learned however that there are two (2) pronunciations in Yoruba for "O" and "S".
"O" as in "au" (audio) eng.
"O" as in "au" (au pair) fr.
"S" as in "sh" (shade/ocean)
"S" as in "ss"/"ce" (deceive/deceased)
For the Kamau the ultimate experience/life/existence, was that of "Ausar"
interposing the eng. "usher" for the kem. "ausar" gives a greater understanding, to the predominantly english speaking world, of how ones aught to be. (ser)spanish
To be an usher implies a subjugation of the ego/personality, remember jesus' response at the washing of the feet. "If I do not wash your feet, you can have no part with me."
To be an usher implies a life of service to others and to the will of a greater power.
To be an usher implies being and setting an example so that others can follow along under your guidance, in the ways of the "master teacher" The cause/source of every pitiful existence/life in the universe.
The Christian doctrine with their savior JC is the only religion that comes close to Ausarian. However, few follow the ways of their teacher.
How did an ideology go from being a willing "servant" to one of being "chosen" is anyone's guess.
Oxa = Ausar/Usher
