i am not providing an 'excuse,' i am presenting a
reasoning for my joining the military. if you do not want an all white military or an all white police force, then black people, and hopefully reasonably conscious ones will have to participate in some manner. outside of complete physical reptriation to africa, africans in the diaspora will inevitably join ranks in the military and partciptae in other realms of civil service in the states. on the whole the military is not an advisable career choice-but there are many african-americans who have gained valuable skills that can be applied to the benefit of black people if coordinated appropriately.
were there not african american fighter pilots that came to the defense of ethiopia?
