Re: Skin-Deep Discrimination
In Response To: Re: Skin-Deep Discrimination ()

yeah you should have expected that comment. i dont have a problem with you nor anyone else discussing colorism-however in my opinion you are a bit obsessive about this issue. my opinion on colorism has not changed. i believe i am pretty consistent. it is easy as evident by many of these topic postings that there are many different elements of africaness that can be used to further develop a cultural divide.
------------
i have problems with:
------------
"Light-skinned blacks emulated Whites to the detriment of dark-skinned Blacks.
---------
it seems like you are playing into those whites and aryans gameplan more than those 'light skin' blacks. you can't prove that historically the majority of light skin blacks have emulated whites-so you really cant make this staement and be taken seriously in my opinion. have SOME light skin blacks done this. of course. but when you amke the assertion that "light skinned blacks..." you are making a broad generalization. these are the issues i have with this line of reasoning. because SOME dark skin blacks have perpetrated crimes, or emulated whites in their mistreatment of other africans are we to label them all?

ill leave it at that
