I dont see anything wrong with going deeper than Judeo-Christianity, which is a youth, compared to ancient Afrikan traditions. All InI had was the bible during the Iception of Rastafari livity as InI know it. So it is not surprising that InI cling to the bible as being fundamental to the movement.

But now since InI have access to more information, InI have realized that InI was given only half of the story as far as Rastafari and ancient Afrikan traditions are concerned. InI now see that "Rasta" is included in the Pert Em Heru, which existed well before the compilation of the Mashafa Kiddus, or bible. Rastafari is not a livity of dogma, rituals and rites, it is a livity that is personal where InI see the true and living god within InI. Otherwise, what would seperate it from Christianity, which most Rastafari has found to be a corrupted (per)version of InI ancient livity?

You can cling to your Judeo-Christian perception of Rastafari. Just dont dis others because they have chosen to adhere to teachings far earlier than the bible, which is merely a regurgitation of what InI forefathers saw and knew ages before.

I am not saying reject the bible. The bible is a useful book because u can see the folly that people have made in the past, and then not make similar mistakes. If read esoterically, the bible does contain truth.
