You may have good intentions, but...
In Response To: Re:An Idea Who Time IS Now ()

“As for moving foward, I have made a request to the administrators of this site and once I get a response, I will be proposing next steps.”

You may have very good intentions, but so far I do not like the method. From my other post you could have drawn that the administrators of this site do not want to be in a public debate about your project. As a matter of fact, in my view you seem to be unaware that on this site there is evidence that we are already involved in other aspects of publishing. So what you are proposing is not new. The only thing that is new is that a few of you now want to be involved in doing the same. That is a laudable step in the right direction.

Without first trying to get from management what we are about and how we are developing, you are in a way coming over as trying to force a working relationship on us or at least trying to elicit public responses.

We do not get involved in working relationships with people simply because they desire to work with us. We have to also desire to work with them. It is quite evident on these sites that we have developed working relationships with quite a few people and even other media sources. The details of these relationships were privately worked out.

We are not sharing our strategies in public. What people should know up front is that we are 100% dark-skinned Black owned and women are the senior managers. So they have to work out racism, colorism, and gender biases to be comfortable with us.

As far as I am concerned people can be anything on these boards. A working relationship involves more than making alliances with usernames. Take some time to get to know who or what you want to work with.
