Re: Faith and belief is the same thing,

Greetings Imanuel
I will answer your questions as best I can. But, I am sure it will not satisfy you. That is why I dont go out my way to try to please people who are stuck in a dogmatic interpretation of the Most High.

"question 1: how come you say selassie is God, when he denied it ?"

For one, how do you know I uphold Selassie I as the creator? You have just come upon this board, unless you are another imposter who has taken on a new name. Which is likely.

I thought I was talking about faith and belief until one of twelve deviated from the thread by bringing in the bible and Christianity, which I think had nothing to do with the original thread posted by Ras Marcus.

Secondly, just imagine any man in this time saying that he is Jah. He will be lumped into the likes of David Koresh, Charles Manson, etc.

Thirdly, no flesh can contain the omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresence of God. No man knows everything. No man is everywhere at the same time. No man is all powerful over everything on the face of the earth. I sight Selassie I as a divine king (KRST) from a great house (per-aa/pharaoh). Much like the original hebrews sighted their messiahs.

"question 2: how come you do not fully accetp the things that selassie accepted, ie the bible, jesus, and a pure smokefee lifestyle."

How do you know what I accept and dont accept? Why dont you ask before assuming?

You act as if you know Ras Tafari Makonnen the man personally. You dont know what he did in his daily life. You dont know what his thoughts were. You dont know what he ate on the regular...or if he ever smoked at all. All you "know" is what you may have read printed by some people.

You read a couple speeches and you think you know the totality of the man.

And understand, I do not accept anything FULLY unless investigated. According to my personal studies, I find many inconsistences in the Jesus story and bible teachings in general. The Bible cant 'save' me. It is a book. I am responsible for my own salvation. So are you. I would hope you have gotten the message from the bible by now and moved on to higher Ites.

Everyone have the right to decide his/her own destiny. So let them do so.

Christianity is not the only way to the divine. I dont care who says so. Spirituality is much different than religion. You dont feel like you have to fit into a box. You can be yourself...a 'free' spirit, so to speak.

Since you are asking questions, let me ask you some.

1. Do you follow the Torah in its fullness like Y'shua did?

2. Do you site the hebrew traditions such as Passover, Purim, Shabbot, Rosh Hoshanna, etc?

Y'shua was a hebrew, so I hope you are following him in the fullness. Practice what you preach now.

Peace
