Re: Light Skin vs Dark Skin???
In Response To: Light Skin vs Dark Skin??? ()

Many people's yardstick for suitability is obviously and understandably different from my own.

However, from my idea of suitability, notwithstanding the many mixed-race-light-skinned, white and other people I know, NO light-skin person is fit to lead any ((( Black movement that is about addressing racism, gender biases, and many of the other issues we cover on these boards ))).

Now it is quite understandable that people will have different yardsticks for suitability, and when they have to vote on leaders they can use theirs. I see no exception to what I have previously stated for the same reasons that I previously gave.

All the threads on this topic except two, where posters deliberately resorted to obscenities and slander, are in the public archives. A link to the archives is at the bottom of this board.
