Interesting scholarship.

However, I think there is a fundamental gap in knowledge. All this scholarship is focusing on the ankh or nkwa as a symbol because they (those doing the scholarship) weren't looking for Kemetic scientifc evidence. The original post which mentions the book Ankh: The African Origins of electromagnetism points out that other Kemetic reliefs show Kemetic priests using light bulbs and batteries. It points out the story of Izziah, who touched the ark and was "zappped" to death because the ark was a charged capacitor turned on and off by the Kemetic priests in charge of its safe-keeping. If the ankh became a symbol par excellence, it could only have done so because of some power, par excellence. I don't trust current Kemetic scholarship which usually scoffs in disbelief of any scientific application of kemetic knowledge and wisdom.

I&I must also remember that the great breakthrough in European electronics came only after thae 100 or so French "savants" who accompanied Napolean, saw the djed and other heiroglyphics which opened them up to electronic "discoveries". If the Europeans could so quickly find applications for the ankh of nkwa and djed symbolism, why couldn't or wouldn't its original creators?

The real mystery is not the symbolism of the ankh, but its application . . ..
