Well I don't totally agree with the quote as it implies that it is just a low amount of skin melanin that is the problem with Whites. I think the problem is more along the line of arrogance together with lacking indigenous African cultural orientation.
There are different centers of melanin and the one that is usually lacking is neuromelanin (in regions of the brain). Lacking heavy skin melanin, on its own, does not block people from having supernatural abilities.
Dr Richard King in his book "Melanin: A key to freedom" addresses some of the common misunderstandings about melanin, and he shares other valuable information on this subject.
