The points Ras Marcus raised are about who determines for others how they should be. I understand the dress code thing, but I am also aware that the challenge is for ones to think outside the box, maybe to get a window into respecting the rights of others, specifically women in this case.
Anyhow, Rasta was never about conforming to manmade rules, it really is about learning from nature, which includes other people, and being guided by the truths as one realizes them. Rasta is also about reasoning, which is a good way to learn more truths.
