Well-said Baba Marcus! All wars are caused by ego. Priest A.A Adofo might think if we women engaged in wars in the purpose of controlling and dominating men for vengeance that it would be perhaps our enlightened attainment. You see this type of thinking is what caused most of the catastrophic events this world has ever seen. Why we women should be the strongest and the biggest? Why men also should rule and dominate all women on this earth that is, alas, the current occurrence of our reality. Today’s reality presents us with ugly pictures of increased crimes against women. Every second a woman (especially the pure black dark-skinned women) gets humiliated, abused, raped, even murdered. These crimes against women shatter love when both men and women are supposed to be EQUAL spiritual beings. A.A Adofo and so many men are exposing their arrogance when they prevent women their right to express their own beingness if they chose to expose their physical shape, skin, personal appearance or whatever they want.

And the philosophical ideologies (Rastafari included) that are responsible for the state of blatant emotional and physical abuse against black women are also directly culpable. We need to be aware of this sad reality! We need to read words like yours baba Marcus to encourage our women in general, and maintain their stalwart loving-nurturing nature which was the historical background of the former sacred matriarchal ways of all native people and civilizations, but was claimed contrary and heresy by the latest unspiritual, racist, sexist and materialist patriarchal cultures and philosophies.

We women have our unique qualities, which I think is a pure severance of patriarchal manipulation. We are not inherently sexist, prejudicial, egoistical and separatist. Nonetheless, as we are also the Children of the Divine, it is our constitutional and basic rights to claim our freethinking mind and free will! We therefore should choose intelligence over ignorance, peace over war, love over hate, tolerance over persecution, and the concept of ALL over the ego. We don’t need to expect or demand men obedience, slavery or submission to avenge all the intended crimes they committed against us. If we women, in turn, adopt this patriarchal tendency we will all continue to bring hypocrisy, imbalence, ego, intolerance and hatred! It’s time for those with so-called “spiritual wisdom” to get a clue.
