its just this back and forth revolving around biblical stories. its like we can't move forward out of it - and i'm talking about EVERYONE here. white/black/asian - everyone - we all have unique cultural contributions and rich heritage related to our indigenous roots. why do we INSIST that we justify our existence through the eyes of this PARTICULARITY?
also - we adapt/change/evolve depending on our surroundings - religion/spirituality also go through these same processes of change. i'm in awe of the natural environment around me, of my friends, of the people that show me love, that to me is spiritual, that to me displays the presence of "God." that is all I really know. for me I've realized - isn't this MORE important than reverting back to a specific culturally out of context doctrine to view all of this through - especially one that is just so darn confusing - one that exhibits some psycho confused "god" as the be all end all? i don't need to be caught up in some one else'e trip - i just had to realize i had every right to be apart from it.
