Greetings once again Baba Ras Marcus,
These days it so happens that I spend very little time on the internet except for research. I still pop into 'the Speaks' to have a quick look and it and read your uplifts .
Give thanks to the Holy Spirit called the Comforter for these uplifts in your life. How good and how pleasant it is for Brethren to dwell together in unity singing happy songs side by side, singing in psalms and hymns.
In these tremulous times as the world system tries to tie our physical existence into its control, the workings of the Spirit, by the Spirit, of the Spirit, for the Spirit, in the Spirit that is what the Lord Jesus Christ has sent to all believers.
This includes H.I.M. Haile Selassie who loved His Lord Jesus very much and drew great inspiration from Him.
What is in a name? So many different spellings or ways of saying His name these days !So what I learned it this way as a child and has no bearing on my personal relationship with Him. I call Him, my First Love, My Lord.
He has a name given to Him by the Father only He knows and in turn gives each one of us our true name written on a white stone.
How beautiful a promise is that. I always scower the beach and rivers for the smoothest crystal stone I can find but knowing it will not compare. Doesn't matter cause I would rather have them in a bowl of water than a diamond on my finger.
So I have my spiritual name, my Aboriginal name given to me by the Old People and my given name from my parents. This is obviously a British colonial name which is not at all unusual and despite being "mine" and supposedly "my" identity always sounded strange and foreign to me.
Doesn't matter as I know why now, can't wait for my real name.
Oh well hopefully this little communication hasn't been too long-winded.
I am listening to early Burning Spear 'Foggy Road' and Ras Michael 'Glory Dawn' always uplifts. Lets not forget 'Redemption Songs' by the master blaster
Blessed love to you and all the other Rastafari Bredren worldwide.
Sis Judah
