Sorry if I man do not go indepth with this, but I am on a Rastafarian forum reasoning right now with I bredren and sistren.
The key point here is the core of passage that many teachers miss totally, or fail to interpret properly.
In the scripture Mathew 24:5 "FOR MANY SHALL COME IN MY NAME SAYING I AM THE CHRIST, AND SHALL DECIEVE MANY".
This is why many people want to get InI people away from the Ible, because the truth is in it. Here Yeshua is telling the I's, that when he returns, he will NOT say that he is the Christ. For if any man say such things, then trully he is not the return of YESHUA.
Haile Selassie I had to keep the prophecy fully intact, by not uttering the words, "I AM THE CHRIST". By HIM keeping verbaly silent on this, made HIM out to be the true return of the Messiah as prophicied by Yeshua, and recorded by Mathew.
The Christ does not have to bost whom he is. HIM works be made manifest in InI.
