Greetings Selassielive
Well I man know that Yeshua rose from the grave as taught in the Ible. Now whether a Ras or empress decide to associate themselves with the common expression of easter held by most commercial promotions of this holiday is another matter all together, and depends on one Ras's faith to another.
But let us set aside the commercial holiday itself, and focus on the fact that Yeshua rose from the grave. If this is true, then indeed celebration is needed, for this is the basis for InI knowledge. Without this, what legacy does Christianity have? And if Christianity is false, then so is all the things that HIM taught. For HIM taught InI to follow the teachings of Christ.
So to rap this up, I believe that InI should celebrate the rise of Yeshua. Now whether you do it with little chocolate easter eggs, and bunnies is up to you. As far as I man am concerened, I family never got into the traditions of the pastel suits, and easter egg hunts, but InI did know in I heart, that I was glad to belong to a God who defeated death, and gave legitamcy to HIM movement.
