I'm not sure we're on the same page:
There are lots of blogs advocating the Tea Party position; but they're like the Texan who voted for Tort Reform in Texas. The first to get hurt by a default will not be the Wealthy Bankers. I'm not saying some (if they're stupid) may not be hurt, eventually, but how many more regular non-stock-holders and non-bond-holders have to end up under one of America's collapsing bridges before a bond/stock holder runs through his wealth?
The dissolution of a so-called Big Bank doesn't mean that the wealth of those investors behind the curtain dissolves. A parasite will always find another host, (China, India, Europe, Latin America).
