Although the ignorance of these conveniently outraged citizens is palpable; one cannot help but wonder if its rooted in genetics or merely a consequence of a lifetime of receiving and absorbing the repeated sublimation of natural truths.
That "Humans" are social beings, is an inarguable reality of nature; why is it then, so difficult to accept that human institutions naturally evolve along socialist principles?
How is it that Xenophobic Fascism came to represent Socialism? And the answer isn't Hitler.
I keep waiting to hear someone ask the logical question of should private "insurance" have a place in a nation's healthcare, to begin with?
What is the purpose of insurance/assurance? If we are really serious about reformation lets get rid of Insurance Companies as well as this over-reaching "Government." Why should a low risk healthy twenty year old bear the cost of any risky older citizen? The smart people would recognize "healthcare insurance" for the Ponzi scheme that it is. With health our risk increases by the minute; no actuary is capable such calculations; and with the decline in food quality and poor lifestyle choices, this Ponzi scheme will eventually become unsustainable, indeed if that is not already the case.
Doesn't it always seem to come back to individual responsibility? The best private health insurance can do is insure against a catastrophic illness, but not too many people will be willing to or even afford to pay those premiums; so what do these parasites do, they try to fool everyone into thinking that private (for profit) health insurance will always be there while laughing all the way to the bank.
Keep in mind that the French and the Japanese smoke a lot more than Americans, yet they live longer. Maybe its because the stress of wondering if they can continue to afford the insurance cost, just to die with dignity isn't hanging over their heads.
