When I suggested that the Universe might have something more in store I was thinking along the lines of the Destruction of Port Royal, Jamaica. Once the richest city in the Americas; built on cruelty and exploitation. As a child I actually felt sorry for the inhabitants of Jamaica after learning of their fate in my little West Indian Reader. Which actually relates one natural disaster after another, as fast as they could rebuild Mother would destroy until finally an earthquake forced them to abandon the location. Where is Jamaica's power now?
