Truly I&I thought I would site the I at the Washington events. Was looking out for the I too. And yes, I&I do remember siting the I's "queen at the time" at the Empress Menen Gathering back in 2003 and again, wondering where the I was...LOL.

Oddly enough, a little over a week ago I&I was looking for an old email so I searched by "key" word and guess what, some of the I's old emails popped up. Still utilizing the AOL email?

We have been updating ones here in ATL of the events that went down and it has sparked alot of forward movements. Right now, I and a group of sistren are coming up with all sorts of ideas to raise monies to forward to Ghana in March. This is a family vibe and sister Imara is prepared to fortify whomever comes with works to gather up in the repatriation effort. We also realize that, if making that effort to raise the monies together, that will fortify us to come back and keep the momentum going. I&I was part of an effort of same back in New York and truly it gave me a taste of knowing there is nothing we cannot accomplish if I&I work as a community. Actualy that is what I like about Atlanta, the communal vibes is incredible!! Oh yeah, about a year ago I moved to Atlanta with 3 other families from New York and that is also a big strength! I&I sistren that forward with I&I started a small school and all our youths attend that.
