Re: Concealed 'white' values - the veiled monarch

Bantu-Kelani
Honour

You said : "I want to know what those early Diasporian African settlers have accomplished because frankly I think they, for the most part, were simply black missionaries who understood the native population in Africa as heathen and savages. They were thoroughly westernized who never believed natives in Liberia and Sierra Leone as equals. The bottom line is in the late 1800s & early 1900 the Panafricanism/Repatriation movement failed us. This is ugly history! So we got to work on our healing there, here, and everywhere!"

Yes, I completely share your views on the wasternised naygrows that inflicted backward ideas on Africans, ignorance may be excused as a disability, but willful ignorance is a sin and it is unforgivable.

But, I would also like to recommend that we never forget the ones that stood firm and true. They may not be as famous as the 'good' naygrows, but the fact that the flame of African resistance NEVER died out at home OR abroad is evidence that they existed. It burned very low at times, but it was always there. If it had'nt been there, we would'nt be here now.

We proceed with the best knowledge at hand. One who is looking back on past journeys with the benefit of a map may percieve a better route than the one chosen at the start of the journey (when there was no map). Yet, the reasons for the failure of past movements are still with us. Just that now, instead of being at the forefront like they were back then, the 'white' values that rule many African minds are concealed or disguised.

If the nature of the disease is not known, then all attempted cures will either fail immediately or eventually. The nature of the disease that has afflicted Africa is NOW KNOWN beyond any doubt. It's name is known (as is it's origins).

It is the duty at this time of those who know the nature of the disease to come with the UNDILUTED cure. Who likes it will take it, who does'nt like it will still have to take it. Let them cry like babies, let them spit it out. They will only get a stronger dose.

Wisdom and Strength.
