Re: Concealed 'white' values - the veiled monarch *LINK*

You said:
"I hold up Haiti (and by implications all revolts that were not based around the individual ethnicity of the African participants) because it is a prophecy of the new stage of resistance and victory. This was one place in time where Africans united (regardless of variance in culture) and defeated the enemy."

The events in Haiti following Independence demonstrated the danger in trying to foster Black unity without addressing Colorism, among other issues. The majority of mixed-race ones in Haiti were on the side of the enemy.

Gwyne Dyer said:
"With all the whites dead or fled, the enslaved former peasants from Africa inevitably ended up being dominated in independent Haiti by the so-called "mulattos," locally born ex-slaves, many of them mixed-race, who spoke good French and understood how business, government and diplomacy worked. The new mulatto elite created an army, recruited mostly from the black majority, whose main job was to keep other blacks under control, and generation after generation they co-operated with foreigners to exploit their own fellow-countrymen."

Unaddressed issues have kept Africans from realizing the significance in standing firm with Haiti. The Colonial powers are doing all they can to ensure that Haiti is never seen as an African success story.

The type of unity needed to deal with the complex nature of Africans is self unity (one that can be realized at the core of all who choose to examine themselves). Of course, this may not bring the results some desire initially, but it would guarantee that more people reach personal freedom, thus ones are able to soulfully contribute to advance humanity in the interest of the collective. We cannot force anyone to become conscious, but we should ensure that if/when they choose to do so the tools are available.

Africans need to recognize the bogus democracy touted by the U.S. is not in our interest. They need to realize that the White/Semitic influenced 'religions' are not in our collective interest.

I feel all 100% Black Africans will understand this reasoning, so Eja should not feel the need to explain away everything.
