Re: Concealed 'white' values - the veiled monarch

greetings Eja...

I felt that you article was very thought provoking. However, I would like clarification on a few statements.

***(On the other hand, the traditions of Kemet describe deities that came from the interior of Africa. So, who was the teacher and why have the students been elevated above those who taught them? )

Absolutely right on...Kemet does give credit to sources and originalities. Kemet is the daughter/son of Aethiopaea and other lands of the continent. But it seems as if you want to criticize Kemet because it gets props from whites.

In other words, you state that Kemet is raised up because of white praising...but nevertheless, why pull it down because of them?

Either way, we give "them" the credit of dictating our mindsets.
-raise Kemet because "they" raised it
-down Kemet because "they" raised it

Kemet and any other civilization should stand on its own merits...should we criticize the subject of the headlines, or should we criticize the newspapers.

***(My ancestry is traceable along the entire length of Odo Oya (river niger) and that is where I look first and foremost for my lessons. I was born into the culture of Nago Yoruba but because I know with certainity that my ancestors walked the length of the river, I know that all the peoples that live by that river (from the source to it's delta) are my relatives. So, aside from the Yoruba, I can look to them as well for lessons)

Absolutely...but I hope your tone does not imply a "we vs. they" attitude.

Being a diasporan, I cannot trace my lineage to neither, but I do know to look somewhere, anywhere in that continent for the reflection of myself.

Deep down I know that Kemet-Ethiopia-Kamau-Yoruba are ALL ONE in the SAME.

Af-ra-ka is my mother...you are my brother.

-always
